Crunchwrap Supreme: The Crispy Homemade Fast-Food Favorite
A homemade Crunchwrap Supreme combines seasoned ground beef, melted cheese, crunchy tostada, lettuce, tomato, and sour cream inside a large flour tortilla that is folded and toasted until golden. Making it at home gives you complete control over the fillings while keeping the signature combination of soft, crispy, creamy, and crunchy textures.

Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 4 small flour tortillas
- 4 tostada shells
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 large tomato, diced
- ½ cup nacho cheese sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat, breaking it apart as it cooks. Add the taco seasoning and the amount of water recommended on the packet, then simmer until the beef is fully coated and flavorful. Warm the large tortillas slightly so they become easier to fold.
Place a large tortilla on a flat surface and spread a layer of nacho cheese in the center. Add seasoned beef, shredded cheese, and a tostada shell. Spread sour cream over the tostada, then add lettuce and diced tomato. Place a small flour tortilla over the toppings to help seal everything inside.
Fold the edges of the large tortilla toward the center, working around the filling until you have a sealed package. Heat a skillet with a little olive oil over medium heat and place the Crunchwrap seam-side down. Cook for 2–3 minutes per side, pressing gently with a spatula, until golden and crisp.
Serve immediately with salsa, guacamole, or extra sour cream. The secret is not overfilling the center, because the tortilla needs enough room to fold securely. Once you get the folding technique right, homemade Crunchwraps are an easy way to recreate the fast-food favorite with fresher ingredients.
