Prep time: 15 minutes
Chill time: 1 hour
Total time: 1 hour 15 minutes
Servings: 4
Difficulty: Easy

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • ½ cup light cream cheese
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla protein powder
  • 1–2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup strong brewed coffee, cooled
  • 8–10 ladyfinger biscuits
  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
  • Optional: dark chocolate shavings, for topping

Prepare the creamy filling by combining the Greek yogurt, light cream cheese, protein powder, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract in a bowl. Whisk until smooth and creamy, making sure there are no visible lumps. Taste the mixture and adjust the sweetness if necessary. The Greek yogurt provides a tangy richness while the cream cheese gives the filling a texture closer to traditional tiramisu.

Pour the cooled coffee into a shallow bowl. Break the ladyfingers into pieces that fit inside four small serving glasses or cups, then briefly dip each piece into the coffee. Avoid soaking them for too long, as they can quickly become mushy. Place a layer of coffee-soaked biscuit in the bottom of each cup, followed by a generous layer of the creamy filling.

Repeat the layers until the cups are filled, finishing with the protein cream. Dust the tops generously with unsweetened cocoa powder, then refrigerate for at least one hour to allow the flavors to develop and the layers to firm up. If you want an extra chocolate flavor, finish each cup with a few shavings of dark chocolate just before serving.

For the best texture, use thick Greek yogurt and avoid oversoaking the ladyfingers. The dessert can be prepared several hours ahead, making it particularly convenient for meal prep or entertaining. Served cold, these tiramisu cups deliver the coffee, cocoa, and creamy vanilla flavors people love about the classic Italian dessert in a lighter, protein-rich format.
